Green European Journal is a political ecology magazine. They’re accepting pitches for their next print edition which will “ask what culture and democracy can do for each other.” Your pitches can revolve around (but don’t have to be limited to) the following thematic pillars: 

- Culture and the ecosocial transformation

- Arts & culture and the European project

- Facing the far right

- AI, creativity, and imagination

They welcome essays, photo essays, interviews, graphic stories, etc. Rates are usually €300-€400. If interested, send your pitches to alessio.giussani@gef.eu. For details, refer to their editor-in-chief’s post and their call for pitches.
