Their South Asia editor is seeking pitches on a rolling basis for “long-form magazine stories on South Asian politics, culture, and history.” “Essays from all India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and its global diaspora are welcome.” The South Asia editor hasn’t mentioned the rates but according to a post by their North Africa editor, they pay $800 for regular essays.
