Crossroads: Folk Horror in the United States is “a new magazine exploring the themes of folk horror from an American perspective.” They’re accepting pitches for Issue 2. The issue theme is "The Devil Has The Best Tunes" and will focus on folk horror themes in music from the USA.
According to their Bluesky post:
“We would love to see pitches about the contributions of Black artists at the intersection of music and folk horror. The Blues, Sinners, the Robert Johnson legend, or anything you think would fit with our theme. Seeking to amplify under-represented voices.”
Pay is $50. To learn more, refer to their post, form, and ‘about us’ page.
