Inciter Art is “a writing, co-learning, and resource sharing space for an arts ecosystem with big ideas and bigger questions.” They’re accepting pitches. Their winter open call theme is “tending to the hearth”:

“When the stakes are high and the world is frigid, what are we willing to show up for? Who warms you up, and how do you help stoke their fires? This upcoming season is for generosity, solidarity, and collective investment in the invisible infrastructure behind creative work. The world may be dark and cold, but the work continues. What do we choose to keep alive? The theme for the winter open call is: tending to the hearth.”

The deadline for the themed call is November 2, 2026, while standalone pitches are accepted year-round on a rolling basis. Pay is $750 per piece (750 to 900 words). For details, click here.
