Carolina Country is a monthly magazine published by North Carolina's electric cooperatives. They feature news, travel stories, gardening tips, recipes, and co-op info. Each month, in their "I Remember" series, they publish “a selection of your stories and pictures about your recollections of people, events, scenes — whatever memories mean a lot to you.” According to their submissions page, they pay $50 per story. They also accept story ideas, and are most interested in articles about the lives and achievements of North Carolina people and businesses served by the state's electric cooperatives.
