Now Then Magazine is Accepting Pitches on Border Abolition and Immigration

Now Then Magazine is an online magazine covering the local news and culture of Sheffield. They’re open for pitches about border abolition and immigration. They have posted this on X:

“Give Over is a project that uses border abolition as a tool for more equitable journalism - we want to push people from a point of ‘refugees welcome’ to a point of understanding the violence required in order to maintain borders.

If you'd like to write about:

- Your experiences of borders

- Abolition of borders as a vision for a more just future

- Borders away from state lines (e.g. in the workplace, healthcare, education, etc)

- The impact of racist reporting

Then email maryam@weareopus.org to pitch!”

Rate is £150 per 800 words. To read their post, click here. To visit their ‘contact’ page, click here.
