The New York Review of Architecture is “a cooperative of working writers, architects, and artists who review architecture, in New York.” They publish monthly and in print only. They are accepting pitches for a new segment, Wrecking Ball. Their deputy editor has tweeted, “Hate something a lot? Want to write 1,000 words about it?” “I'm especially interested in hearing from people who don't typically write about architecture and also from people who are not men.” They will pay $200 for Wrecking Ball columns. To get in touch with their deputy editor, email m.daprile@nyra.nyc. To read their deputy editor’s Twitter thread, click here. To learn more about them, click here.
