The Lead is a micro-mag covering politics and culture in the UK. Their Westminster editor is commissioning some punchy features: “We want investigations and features covering social injustice, inequality, policy horror stories, and issues facing real people all across the country today. I'm especially interested in the stories of marginalised communities, intergenerational unfairness, regional inequalities, healthcare biases, and the plight of children. But I'm open to any story you think is worth telling!” Rates begin at £400 for features of about 1,500 words. If interested, email zoe@thelead.uk. To learn more, refer to their editor’s post and their pitching guidelines.
