East Bay Nosh is the food section for both Berkeleyside and The Oaklandside. Their editor is seeking pitches for food stories in the East Bay. They love people-focused stories. They also love “pitches on people growing or producing food in unexpected ways and places, tackling food insecurity and justice issues, and fighting for better labor conditions.” They pay $100 for briefs, $250 for reviews, a minimum of $350 for complex features, and a minimum of $500 for in-depth enterprise and investigative reports.
