Tasavvur, which literally means Imagination in Urdu/ Hindi, aims to provide a warm and cozy space for imaginative short stories. They are interested in all forms of speculative fiction – fantasy, sci-fi, horror, magical realism, mythpunk, weird fiction, or anything genre-bending – and in non-fiction work that explores, celebrates, or critically engages with South Asian speculative storytelling traditions. According to their guidelines, for fiction, they pay 5 cents per word for stories up-to 5,000 words.
