The Anchorage Press is Accepting Pitches

The Anchorage Press is Alaska’s only alt-weekly. They cover news, arts, culture, government, politics, and the environment in Anchorage and Alaska. They accept freelance pitches and aim to commission 5 to 7 freelance pieces each month. They’re open to just about anything Alaska-related. Their main areas of focus are arts, culture, government, politics, and the environment. Pieces are typically 700 to 1,200 words, and the rate is $0.50 per word based on the commissioned length.
