They welcome pitches from anywhere in the world on developments in aerospace, AI, biomedical engineering, computing, consumer electronics, energy and climate tech, semiconductors, telecommunications, and transportation, including news stories (600–1,200 words), features (2,000–4,000 words), profiles, Q&As, and multimedia pieces. According to their pitch guide, flat-rate news stories start at $500, while fully reported news stories and features start at $1.25 per assigned word.
