Guidelines
Folding Rock is a print magazine publishing “the very best creative prose from Wales – and beyond.” For nonfiction, they want personal and narrative essays, nature and place writing, reportage, and memoir in, from, or connected to Wales, usually 2,000 to 4,000 words, with a 1,000-word minimum. Each issue has a theme, and they read completed, previously unpublished work rather than pitches. According to their submission guidelines, they pay £360 per piece accepted or commissioned for print, the same rate for every writer.
