Minnesota Conservation Volunteer is the magazine of Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. They want features and essays on the state’s natural resources and outdoor recreation. Features are 1,200 to 1,800 words, Field Notes are 300 to 600 words, and essays, such as A Sense of Place, are 800 to 1,200 words.
