Metro Family Magazine aims to inform parents and empower families. The magazine is “distributed in Edmond, NW OKC, Nichols Hills, South OKC, Moore, Norman, Yukon and Midwest City.” They are accepting submissions from Oklahoma City area parents for these themes/categories: day in the life (750 words or less); and personal columns (at least 1 photo, 1,000 words or less). They previously indicated payment of $20-$35 for articles that are up to 500 words and $35-$50 for articles that are over 500 words, but current rates are unclear. Read their submission guidelines here.
