Faith Today is “Canada's Christian magazine, the leading national magazine for Canada's estimated four million evangelical Christians.” They’re accepting freelance proposals:
“Faith Today is most interested in freelance proposals for short (350-word) articles in a section called News.Notes.Ideas and 700-word reviews for our Books+Culture section.
We also welcome proposals for journalistic feature articles (800 to 1,800 words) that draw on original interviews to provide analysis and interpretation. We don't publish many feature-length newsmagazine-style reports in print, although we do commission some for our website.”
They pay Cdn$0.30 per word for original personal essays and guest columns and Cdn$0.40 per word for most other interview-based or researched original writing. Books & Culture reviews pay Cdn$125, and online-only blog posts pay Cdn$50. To learn more, refer to their writer guidelines.
