They have no formal word limits, but tend not to publish work longer than 7,000 words. The Sun Magazine is open for submissions

They publish fiction, personal essays, poetry, and photography (interior photos, cover photos, and photo-essays). “Personal stories that touch on political and cultural issues are welcome.” There’s also a themed Readers Write section, for which payment is a magazine subscription.
