Reader’s Digest is a general interest family magazine. They do not accept article proposals or original works of fiction, nonfiction, or poetry, but you can submit jokes, funny true stories, and quotes. According to their submit a joke page, they pay $25 for any joke, gag, or funny quote and $100 for any true funny story published in a print edition of Reader's Digest.
