feature story pitches, especially from writers of color and women. For
briefings, they pay a standard honorarium of $250. For feature articles, they

World Politics Review provides “uncompromising news and analysis on global affairs.” They are seeking a freelance writer to contribute the lead story (600-750 words) to their weekly China newsletter, China Note. The lead story “usually highlights a major news development from China, but can also look at other aspects of Chinese politics and society that may not be covered as widely in Western media.” According to their contributor guidelines, they pay a standard honorarium of $250 for briefings of 900 to 1,100 words.
