DDW is a publication covering luxury and culture. They're now shifting further into modern aristocracy, wealth, taste and the social worlds surrounding them. Think heirs, heiresses, legacy, status, power, old money, new money, social signalling and the cultural codes around wealth.

They're looking to commission writers with access, insight or fluency in these worlds — people who can write with precision, intelligence and cultural awareness. Particularly interested in voices who understand elite social ecosystems from the inside or close proximity, and who can move beyond surface-level luxury coverage into something sharper, more observant and socially literate.

They're open to features, essays, profiles, reported pieces and cultural observations (1,200–2,000 words, commissioned at ~ $400/article depending on scope and experience).
