Strange Horizons is a weekly science fiction and fantasy magazine. For its annual criticism special, publishing in the last week of January 2027, they're looking for essays, long reviews, and roundtables. Deadlines are negotiable. The call doesn't state pay, but their standing guidelines pay:

• $150 per original essay
• $60 per review of at least 1,000 words
• $20 per roundtable contributor
