“We’re building a new travel destination with content tailored for the 50+ audience. To fuel this new experience, we’re looking for skilled freelance writers with destination and subject-matter experience. We’ll be accepting pitches as well as assigning based on a pre-determined content plan.”

“What we’re looking for: 

- Writers who have extensive experience in their destination. E.g. you live there, have lived there, or visit often (multiple trips over many years, not a week-long visit every decade). 

- We’re initially focusing on North America (including all 50 states, the most popular cities in Canada and Mexico, and the most popular islands in the Caribbean) as well as Western Europe (with a focus on the major cities) and lighter coverage of the most popular cities in the rest of the world

- This means there’s more opportunity to write about Florida than Japan, for example, and we’ll cover places like Aruba or Cancun with more depth than places like St Kitts or Guadalajara 

- We’re also planning to focus on cruises, multi-generational travel, solo travel, and accessibility needs.”
